The 14-16 Great Portland Street site includes the redevelopment alongside both Great Portland Street and Margaret Court. The redevelopment seeks to greatly improve the existing streetscape to Margaret Court, bringing to life this intimate passage by connecting with the bars and restaurants on Market Place.

The proposal includes the re-provision of the lower ground and ground floor spaces to provide two new high quality retail units. It also includes the bespoke fit out of the existing office floor space.

The existing external finishes are to be retained where possible with the attractive Portland Stone façade to Great Portland Street and glazed brick to Margaret Court. Where new elements or finishes are required, these are to match the existing removed to retain the traditional aesthetic.

These design principles are continued into the interior through the choice of materials and elements of the space. The use of crittall window effect partitioning and doors alongside glazed wall tiling tie coupled with exposed services tie the whole scheme together.
